Coaches

”In terms of coaches, Ty and Cyrma from the Peninsula Tri Squad tick all the right boxes. I have been training and racing around the world at the highest level in both running and Duathlon for over 15 years now and can honestly say that Ty and Cyrma are amongst the best coaches I have seen. Their ability to lift the athlete and get them to give their best efforts is sensational. I really feel that their hands on approach and leading by example also instilled great confidence in the athlete, as they know exactly what the athlete is experiencing first hand. Through their organisation, unsurpassed passion and enthusiasm, not to mention their knowledge and ability to communicate with athletes, I truly believe that any athlete who is fortunate enough to be coached by Ty and Cyrma will be guided to the next level.” Ryan Mannix, Australian Duathlete.

After 18 years of playing professional tennis at the International level, I enlisted the guidance and training from the Coaches of Peninsula Tri Squad in preparation for my 2011 International Tennis Season and I have never had such a successful start to my year - winning my first two tournaments in Men’s Doubles at the Brisbane International and Sydney International and reaching the Finals of the Mixed Doubles at The Australian Open! Training with the Peninsula Tri Squad Coaches improved my fitness, endurance, strength and conditioning enormously in an incredibly short time and led to my debut into triathlon racing the Elwood Sprint distance this year. Training and racing with Peninsula Tri Squad will now form an integral part of my training regime each year as I prepare for each season of tennis In Australia. I’m looking forward to seeing the Squad all again next summer”. Paul Hanley, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles Specialist, Member of Australian Davis Cup Team, Gold Medallist at the Commonwealth Games.
